Basic policy
Revenue is a supplement that helps keep the blog running. It does not take priority over readability, accuracy, or usefulness to readers.
The home page, header, and the top of articles are not filled with ads. Pop-ups, autoplay video, full-screen ads, and overlays that cover the content are not used.
Affiliate links
Articles with affiliate links show “This article contains affiliate links” near the link or at the top of the article.
Affiliate links are limited to places relevant to the product or service being discussed. Unrelated product links are not listed.
Links use `rel="sponsored"`; external links opened in a new tab also use `noopener` and related protections.
Provided, loaned, and sponsored items
If a product or service was provided free of charge, loaned, or sponsored, that fact is stated in the article.
Even with a provided or sponsored item, the article includes caveats and limitations, not only praise. The final editorial decision is made by the operator.
Editorial independence
Compensation or provided items do not change the conclusion of a review.
A product that was not used is not described as “tested” or “compared”. Unverified information is marked as such.
Link handling
Shortened URLs and opaque redirects are not used. The destination’s HTTPS, display name, and content are checked before publication.
Prices, stock, and specifications change; a check date is included where relevant. Old information is not treated as permanently true.
Measurement
This blog currently does not use an analytics tool, including Cloudflare Web Analytics. Affiliate partners may set cookies on their own sites after you follow a link.
If analytics or advertising providers are added, the privacy policy will be updated and any necessary consent handling will be defined.
Changes
This policy is reviewed when programs or display methods change. The update date on this page is revised when it changes.
