Who runs this
This is a personal blog. It is not an official view of a company or research institution; the articles reflect Kaz’s own research and opinions.
It is written for curious beginners as well as people who work in the field, with different ways into each topic.
Topics
There are three categories: Security, AI, and IT & Tech. Article types are News & Analysis, Reviews, Guides, and Notes; they are independent of the categories.
News articles separate what happened, the technical background, and the author’s take. Reviews state what was actually used and in what environment.
News handling
News articles check primary sources such as official announcements, vendor advisories, and NVD, and record the date checked. The announcement date and the blog publication date are different things.
Facts, inferences, and Kaz’s views are shown separately. Information that has not been verified is marked as provisional.
Use of AI
AI may be used to organize news candidates or help with drafts. Fact-checking, citation checks, and publication decisions are made by a person.
If AI claims something was used or tested without evidence, it is not published as fact. Articles with AI assistance are labeled.
Accuracy and corrections
Specifications and behavior are checked against primary sources, with the test environment and date where relevant. CVSS scores include the version and source.
When an error is found, the article is corrected and the update date and change are recorded. Substantial corrections are listed in the revision history.
Reviews and advertising
Reviews disclose whether an item was self-purchased, provided, loaned, sponsored, or subscription-based. Products that were not used are not presented as hands-on reviews.
Articles with affiliate links show a notice where readers can see it, and links use appropriate attributes. See the Disclosure page for details.
Contact
This blog does not publish an individual contact address.
Corrections are made to the relevant article, with the update date and change recorded.
Responsible disclosure
Information about undisclosed vulnerabilities, or details that could identify affected organizations, is not published until coordinated disclosure is complete.
Reproduction steps are presented for isolated environments you are authorized to use, with required permissions, impact, and warnings stated explicitly.
